Windows Live writer and xmlrpc problem

I’ve always had a problem with my windows live writer not to work with my blog. Kept throwing me an error saying “an error occured while attempting to connect to your weblog: … xmlrpc.php ..”

But anyway, to fix this, just go ahead create or edit your .htaccess file and add the following lines:

<Files xmlrpc.php>
SecFilterInheritance Off
</Files>

And that is all, I hope this works for you as well.

Update: Scratch that! Had to do other serveral stuff: Make sure the ownership of the web folder is set to a privilged user “web-server”, and make sure of the rpc in your Options of your wordpress under “Writing” section is only set to default version “http://rpc.pingomatic.com/“.

I hope this one will work now for me. Here I am publishing this….

    When i use live writer, it will say ” Network connection error, attempting to connect to your weblog at:
    http://storage.msn.com/storageservice/MetaWeblog.rpc” , i donnot how to deal wtih it, pls give some suggestions, Thanks
